More than 34,000 travelers crossed the Alamah crossing last week
SadaNews - More than 34,000 citizens, visitors, and residents crossed the Alamah crossing during the past week, while the police arrested 39 individuals wanted by the judiciary.
The number of departures during the week was (16,299) individuals, while the number of arriving travelers was (18,466) individuals, indicating an active movement of travelers.
During the same period, the police apprehended (39) individuals wanted by the judiciary or prohibited from travel, whether attempting to leave through the crossing or upon their arrival while entering the Palestinian territories. They are wanted for cases pending in the courts and the public prosecution.
The police, along with all security and civil agencies in the General Administration of Crossings and Borders, provided many facilities and services to all citizens, including coordinating for (7) medical cases for travel between both sides of the crossing in Palestinian ambulances.
