Clashes and Arrests During Raids in the West Bank

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of incursions and raids in cities and towns of the West Bank on Tuesday morning, accompanied by arrests, field investigations, and extensive military deployment, along with clashes in some areas and attacks carried out by settlers against Palestinian property.

Local sources reported the arrest of young man Murad Nawajaa after raiding his home in the Wadi al-Jawiya area near the town of Yatta, south of Hebron.

In Nablus, Israeli forces re-arrested released prisoner Yasin al-Karkari during the raid on the village of Salem, east of the city, as they also arrested Fawad al-Zirba, Walid al-Ashqar, and Azmi Mansour after raiding their homes in the Dahia neighborhood, east of Nablus.

The arrests also included young men Khamees Abu Ghazi and Hassam Faraj after raiding their homes in the village of Talfit, south of Nablus, in addition to the arrest of young man Muhammad Nazem Abu Jish from the town of Beit Dajan, east of the city.

In Tulkarm, occupation forces arrested Maher Assasa after raiding his home in the town of Illar, north of the city, as part of a continuous campaign of arrests in the West Bank.

In northern West Bank, occupation forces raided the town of Attil, north of Tulkarm, and also stormed homes in the town of Kafr Ra'i, south of Jenin, during repeated incursions into the town.

In Nablus, Israeli forces advanced through several axes, including the Huwara and Awarta checkpoints, and raided the upper Dahia and the city of Balata amidst the deployment of infantry forces.

Local sources reported that settlers carried out provocative assaults in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, which included vandalizing properties of residents and attacking an agricultural shed in the Qamas area.

In Ramallah, occupation forces stormed the city center and raided the Al Jazeera channel's office, as they also raided the town of Deir Jarir, northeast of the city. In Hebron, forces raided the city of Halhul and stormed a residential building before arresting a young man.

A foot patrol also stormed the town of Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem, coinciding with a military deployment in the area, while occupation forces detained three young men near the Qabr Halwa area, east of Bethlehem, and fired live ammunition during the incursion of the Shuwaykeh neighborhood, north of Tulkarm.
