The Hajj and Umrah Committee Announces Completion of All Arrangements for the Hajj Season of 2026
SadaNews - The Chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Committee, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf Essam Abdel Halim, announced that the Hajj Committee has completed all the necessary preparations for this year’s Hajj season 1447AH / 2026AD, including arrangements for transportation and housing in Medina and Mecca, in addition to arrangements for the holy sites, confirming the readiness of the administrative, guidance, and medical teams accompanying the Palestinian Hajj mission at all stations.
Abdel Halim clarified in a statement issued by the ministry today, Tuesday, that the Palestinian Hajj mission works with a spirit of teamwork and a high sense of responsibility towards the pilgrims, stressing that everyone is serving this noble mission, and the success of the season requires the concerted efforts of all parties.
Abdel Halim discussed the distribution of accommodation for the pilgrims of the first and second batches, in addition to the mechanisms for transporting them from and to the holy sites, noting that the Hajj and Umrah Committee has devised a meticulous work plan, formed by the cabinet based on the Hajj Organization System No. (15) for the year 2025, as administrative teams have been distributed across all rented hotels to ensure the highest level of organization and service.
He indicated that the ministry has coordinated fully with the official and security bodies on the Palestinian and Jordanian sides, and the Border and Crossings Authority, to ensure smooth travel operations for the pilgrims.
He confirmed that there will be committees from the mission welcoming the pilgrims in Medina and Mecca, and that work teams have been carefully distributed to cover all stages of performing the religious duties, indicating the readiness of engineering, guidance, preaching, medical, and media missions.
Abdel Halim emphasized the necessity of complying with the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and at the official entry points, noting that representing the Palestinian Hajj mission requires professional performance and extra effort, especially during the Day of Arafah and the days of Mina, adding that the selection of administrative teams was done in a professional and studied manner, calling on everyone to cooperate and embody the spirit of initiative and the inner motivation to serve the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God to the fullest extent.
