Martyrs in Israeli Strikes on Lebanon and Injuries to Israeli Soldiers in Hezbollah Attacks

SadaNews - Several Lebanese people have been martyred and others injured on Friday in Israeli airstrikes on several towns, as Israeli warnings for residents to evacuate and flee continue, while Hezbollah announced several operations targeting vehicles and gatherings of the Israeli army in what it described as "in response to the violations" of the ceasefire.

The Israeli army announced that two of its soldiers were injured in a Hezbollah attack in southern Lebanon, and a officer and a soldier were also injured and a vehicle was burned as a result of a Hezbollah drone attack on the border town of "Misgav Am", in addition to announcing the interception of several drones near its forces in southern Lebanon.

Politically, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun discussed with the US ambassador to his country, Michel Issa, the file of consolidating the ceasefire and stopping the targeting of civilians and civilian facilities by Israel, in preparation for resuming talks in Washington that would lead to achieving peace and stability along the border and announcing it in Washington. Issa confirmed the United States' continued support for Lebanon and its institutions, according to the Lebanese news agency.

The Israeli army announced that it attacked more than 40 Hezbollah targets in the last 24 hours, stating that the attacked targets were located "in various areas of southern Lebanon, where they were destroyed", indicating that they "included headquarters where (elements) were active, military facilities, and other infrastructures". It claimed that Hezbollah elements "used the headquarters and military facilities targeted to further plans against the army and Israel".
