Martyr Shot by Occupation Forces and Settlers in Deir Jarir Village
SadaNews - A young man was martyred by the bullets of the Israeli occupation forces and settlers on Sunday evening in Deir Jarir village, east of Ramallah.
The Ministry of Health announced in a brief statement that a young man from Deir Jarir was martyred by the occupation's bullets.
Fathi Hamdan, the head of the Deir Jarir village council, told the official agency that the young man Bara' Khairy Ali Ma'ali (20 years old) was martyred during an attack by settlers and occupation forces on the village.
He mentioned that armed settlers attacked the homes of citizens on the outskirts of the village and that a force from the occupation army stormed the area to provide protection for the settlers.
Hamdan added that the occupation soldiers and settlers fired live bullets at citizens who tried to confront the settlers' attack, which resulted in the young Ma'ali being shot directly in the chest. He was transferred to the emergency unit in Silwad town and then to the Palestine Medical Complex, where his martyrdom was announced later.
