Four Citizens Injured and 60 Trees Uprooted in Settler Attack South of Hebron
SadaNews - Four citizens sustained injuries, bruises, and cases of suffocation today, Wednesday, as a result of an attack carried out by settlers on the homes and lands of citizens in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron. They also vandalized and uprooted approximately 60 trees.
Anti-settlement activist Osama Mukhamra reported to the official agency that armed settlers attacked citizens' homes and lands in the Al-Rakhim Valley and Khillat Al-Hummus areas south of Yatta, resulting in the injury of four citizens who suffered wounds, bruises, and cases of suffocation after being sprayed with pepper gas. They were subsequently transported to Yatta Government Hospital.
He added that the settlers uprooted 40 olive trees and 20 forestry trees belonging to citizen Jibril Rumi, and they also closed the road linking Khillat Al-Hummus and Al-Rakhim Valley.
