Organization of Islamic Cooperation Condemns Israeli Occupation's Hijacking of Palestinian Tax Funds

SadaNews - The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation strongly condemned the approval by the so-called Israeli Knesset of a racist bill aimed at expanding mechanisms for seizing Palestinian tax funds, in a blatant violation of international law and signed bilateral agreements.

The Secretariat warned of the dangers of this illegal action, which constitutes organized piracy and an assault on the rights of the Palestinian people and their financial resources, and it could exacerbate the deteriorating humanitarian and economic conditions in the occupied Palestinian territory.

The General Secretariat reiterated its call on the international community to bear its responsibilities to pressure the Israeli occupation to halt this official piracy, and to immediately and unconditionally release all Palestinian tax funds illegally held.
