Jordan Announces the Interception of 5 Iranian Missiles Over Al-Azraq
SadaNews: The Jordanian armed forces announced that air defense systems intercepted and shot down five missiles launched from Iran toward the Al-Azraq area in Zarqa Governorate on Tuesday evening.
A military source responsible at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces stated that the interception operation resulted in the fall of several debris without recording any human injuries or material damage, noting that engineering teams dealt with the remnants of the missiles to ensure they were free of any explosive materials.
The source confirmed that the armed forces are closely monitoring regional developments and operating at the highest levels of readiness to protect the kingdom's airspace and defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing that it will not allow any violations of Jordanian airspace from any party.
