Occupation Arrests Dozens of Activists Participating in the Resilience Fleet
SadaNews - Israeli occupying forces have arrested hundreds of activists participating in the "Global Resilience Fleet" after intercepting dozens of ships in international waters as they headed from Turkish shores to the Gaza Strip in an attempt to break the imposed siege.
Hebrew website Walla reported from an Israeli security source: "The Israeli navy is controlling 40 boats from the Resilience Fleet and has arrested more than 300 activists on board."
The occupying forces began, last night, the operation to control the "Global Resilience Fleet", off the coast of Cyprus, hundreds of kilometers away, resulting in the arrest of dozens of participants.
Israeli media reported that the Resilience Fleet activists were transferred to a vessel belonging to the occupation's navy equipped with a floating prison and then to Ashdod port.
Resilience Fleet member Abdul Rahman Al-Kahlout said that Israeli occupying forces arrested 345 activists from 39 ships participating in the fleet, while 9 other ships are still continuing their journey towards the Gaza Strip.
