Hebrew Channel Claims: Hamas Urged Its Members in Gaza to Kidnap Israeli Soldiers

SadaNews Translation - The Hebrew channel Reshet Kan claimed on Monday evening that the "Hamas" movement distributed an internal document to its activists urging them to kidnap Israeli soldiers to free prisoners in Israeli jails.

According to the channel, this was in response to the approval of the law imposing the death penalty on Palestinian prisoners, which was passed by the Knesset and is set to be implemented soon. SadaNews translated.

According to the channel's claims, the document described the law as "fascist and embodying the notion of bloodthirsty criminal gangs" in reference to the Israelis.

The document recalled the concepts of Hamas leaders Ahmed Yassin and Mohammed Deif, who established the idea of kidnapping Israeli soldiers, considering it the only path to freedom.

Hamas leadership warned that harming the prisoners would lead to a regional explosion and confirmed that it has prepared military movements. They added: "Any harm to the life of a prisoner is like a bomb that will lead to the eruption of a massive volcano, leaving nothing and no trace in the depths of this pure land, where hidden secrets will shake the ground beneath their feet."

At the conclusion of the message, Hamas leadership called on the military wing to raise its state of readiness and move to active operations, based on their conviction that freedom can only be attained by strength.
