Martyrs and Injuries in Ongoing Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza

SadaNews - Palestinians were martyred and others injured on Sunday due to Israeli airstrikes and shelling targeting various areas in the Gaza Strip, with medical sources reporting an increase in the death toll resulting from the ongoing bombardment of Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that 6 martyrs and 19 injuries had reached hospitals in Gaza over the past 48 hours, including two new martyrs and 4 bodies retrieved from under the rubble, confirming that several victims remain trapped under debris and in the streets as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

Israeli military forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in Gaza for the 220th consecutive day, through airstrikes, artillery shelling, home demolitions, and gunfire targeting residential areas and shelters for the displaced, particularly in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, in addition to targeting the eastern areas of al-Tuffah neighborhood in the northeastern part of Gaza City and the surroundings of al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.

In the past hours, there has also been intense gunfire from military vehicles, warships, and drones directed at Palestinian homes, causing fear and panic among residents and the displaced, coinciding with the continuation of Israeli military operations on multiple fronts within the Gaza Strip.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, the death toll has risen since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, to 871 martyrs and 2,562 injuries, while the cumulative toll since the war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, has reached approximately 72,763 martyrs and 172,664 injuries.
