Eighth Conference of 'Fatah' Announces That Voter Participation in Central Committee and Revolutionary Council Elections Reached 94.64%

SadaNews - The eighth conference of the "Fatah" movement announced this evening, Saturday, that the voter participation rate in the elections for the Central Committee and the Revolutionary Council of the movement, in the four arenas (Ramallah, Gaza, Lebanon, Cairo) reached 94.64%.

The participation rate in the elections in the four arenas, according to what was published on the eighth conference's page on "Facebook", is as follows:

The conference commenced its activities last Thursday, with the participation of President Mahmoud Abbas, and the presence of ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the State of Palestine, religious leaders, representatives of factions and national forces, and civil society organizations.

The sessions of the eighth conference of the "Fatah" movement proceeded smoothly amid an organizational atmosphere that reflects the movement's and its cadres' commitment to successfully conducting its work and enhancing democratic participation in its various leadership bodies.
