Election of Jabareen for the Joint List in the Occupied Territories
SadaNews - Youssef Jabareen has been elected as the head of the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality list for the upcoming Knesset elections.
Jabareen competed with Shukri Awawda for the position of list leader.
Jabareen replaces Ayman Odeh, who decided not to participate politically after serving in the position for 11 years.
In a brief speech during his victory celebration, Jabareen stated: "The front proves once again that we are worthy of leading the march of our people."
He hinted that he would focus on activating the Joint Arab List to participate in the upcoming Knesset elections.
