6,500 Tons of Military Equipment and Ammunition Arrive in Israel

Translation by SadaNews - The Israeli Ministry of Defense reported on Thursday evening that a combined air and sea bridge has delivered 6,500 tons of military equipment and ammunition within the last 24 hours.

The ministry clarified in a statement, as translated by SadaNews, that cargo ships carrying thousands of aerial and ground munitions, military trucks, combat vehicles, and a wide range of other equipment from the United States have docked at the ports of Ashdod and Haifa.

It noted that the equipment was simultaneously loaded onto hundreds of trucks and transported to Israeli military bases.

Israeli Ministry of Defense Director General Amir Baram stated that these central efforts led by the Ministry of Defense aim to enhance readiness for developments in the war.

He highlighted that since the beginning of Operation "Lion's Roar", over 115,600 tons of military equipment have arrived in Israel through 403 air flights and 10 sea trips.

Meanwhile, Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that "the State of Israel is ready at any moment to act against its enemies in any arena and anywhere it is required to do so." He added, "The expanding air and sea reinforcement currently enhances the readiness of the Israeli army and its operational superiority, and our mission is to ensure that it receives all the necessary means to be able to return and act at full strength against our enemies at any time and place it is required to do so... We will continue to strengthen capabilities and ensure that Israel possesses all the tools to protect its citizens and defeat its enemies," he expressed.
