Large Israeli Protests in Tel Aviv and in Front of Netanyahu's House in Jerusalem and Key Intersections
SadaNews - Thousands of Israelis are protesting Saturday evening in the "Kidnappers' Roundabout" in Tel Aviv, and in front of the house of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in occupied Jerusalem, against the expansion of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and the occupation of the city of Gaza, demanding a prisoner exchange deal in exchange for ending the war.
The pace of protests in Israel against Netanyahu's government has escalated amid concerns about the fate of the prisoners held in Gaza, as 48 of them remain in the strip, 20 of whom are still alive.
Thousands of demonstrators have reached Tel Aviv for the central weekly demonstration in the city, while a protest march is taking place in Jerusalem heading to Netanyahu's house.
The mother of one of the Israeli prisoners spoke before the protest in Jerusalem, presenting a recording she received from an Israeli army officer, stating that her son's life is in danger. The officer said in the recording that "the danger has increased in recent days due to army operations prior to the incursion, and it is on an upward trend with the intensification of the incursion."
In Haifa, thousands participated in a demonstration that started from the Carmel area heading to "Hurif"; other protests were organized in several towns including Be'er Sheva and various junctions such as Kirkor, Zikhron Ya'akov, Tzemah, Hagogma, Karmiel, Kabri, and Nahariya, in addition to other protests in the "Gaza Envelope" area.
