Fatah and Trade Unionism… A Vision Triumphs and a Will Renews
At every national and professional station, the Palestinian National Liberation Movement, Fatah, proves that it is not merely a political faction, but a school of national, trade union, and community action, and a system of values that extends its roots in the conscience of this people since the dawn of the revolution to this day.
When the movement advances into the arenas of trade union work, it does not just engage in electoral competition, but presents a model of responsibility and belonging, based on a rich history of struggle and a clear vision centered on serving the members, preserving professional rights, and defending the higher national interest.
Today, after Fatah has achieved a resounding victory in six professional unions with merit and capability, the public renews its trust in the movement and reaffirms that the national project carried by Fatah from the beginning remains the first choice of a people that has rejected defeat and has always stood behind national legitimacy and its institutions.
This achievement cannot be read in isolation from the nature of the institutions in which trust has been renewed; winning in the Engineers Union, the Lawyers Union, the Doctors Union, the Veterinarians Union, engineering offices, and the Dentists Union is not merely a trade union event, but a pivotal station in the path of national and organizational work for the Fatah Movement. These unions represent the most important pillar in the Palestinian professional system, and are the foundation of justice, health, oversight, and services. When these institutions choose Fatah, they announce in a clear voice that the movement remains the cornerstone in protecting the societal system and enhancing institutions, and that the option of national legitimacy is renewed through the will of awareness and responsibility, not through opportunism or fleeting slogans.
The support of the unions for Fatah is not an incidental event, but a confirmation that Palestine is not built on slogans nor managed through bids, but crafted through institutional work and true belonging to the aspirations and rights of the people, and through the solid professionalism demonstrated by the movement and its cadres in every position.
These victories are not just numbers or seats to be seized; they are a clear message that the Palestinian people, despite all challenges, are still committed to their authentic national choice and historical leadership that has guided their struggle, maintained their unity, and made sacrifices for their freedom.
Today, as we stand before these honorable results, we affirm that this achievement is a trust and a responsibility, and that Fatah will remain, as it has always been:
the guardian of the Palestinian dream, the leader of the course of national struggle, the shield of civil and professional institutions, and the symbol of renewal, trust, and victory.
Despite attempts, the ballot box was eloquent.
Fatah triumphed because it is closest to the people, because it is the most sincere in commitment, and the most capable of carrying the project of an independent Palestinian state with its capital in Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
