Rubio Arrives in India on His First Visit
SadaNews - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in India early Saturday morning, on his first visit, where he will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, following diplomatic moves led by Washington with China.
Rubio landed in Kolkata, the first of his four stops in India. He will visit Mother Teresa's sites before flying to New Delhi to meet Modi later today, according to the State Department.
During his visit, Rubio will participate in a formal celebration in New Delhi marking the 250th anniversary of American independence.
In New Delhi, he will meet with his counterparts from the "Quad" group, which includes the United States, India, Australia, and Japan.
