Trump Meets with Senior Advisors and Considers Options Including New Strikes on Iran
SadaNews - Axios and CBS reported late Friday to Saturday, that the U.S. government is considering launching new strikes against Iran, while Donald Trump changed his agenda to stay in Washington this weekend, which fueled speculation about the possibility of resuming hostilities against Tehran.

On Friday morning, the U.S. president gathered his closest advisors to discuss the war in Iran according to Axios, while CBS indicated that no decision had been made yet.
The Wall Street Journal quoted American officials saying that Trump told his aides in a meeting on Friday that he wished to give diplomacy more time, but he did not completely close the door on launching strikes against Iran if talks fail.
CBS News quoted the White House spokesperson saying that the president keeps all options on the table at all times.. Trump has been clear about the consequences Tehran will face if it fails to reach an agreement.
Trump announced that he would not be able to attend his son Donald Trump Jr.'s wedding in New Jersey, and that he would have to stay in Washington "for state matters."
