Trump Confirms: We Will End the War with Iran "Very Quickly"

SadaNews - U.S. President Donald Trump told lawmakers at the White House that the United States "will end the war very quickly" with Iran.

Trump added: "We have a great military and we have successfully dealt a strong blow to Iran and its capabilities."

Trump emphasized that Iran "will not possess nuclear weapons."

The U.S. president noted that previous administrations "did not spend enough on developing military capabilities."

Axios reported on Tuesday that Trump held a meeting on Monday evening with his National Security team regarding Iran, which included a briefing on military options.

The website quoted U.S. officials saying that Trump gave Iran "only a few days" to achieve a diplomatic breakthrough, possibly two or three days, or even by the end of the week.

For his part, U.S. Vice President JD Vance said on Tuesday that the United States and Iran have made significant progress in their talks, and that both sides do not wish to resume military action.
