Israeli Army Warns of Evacuation for 12 Villages and Towns in Southern Lebanon
SadaNews - On Tuesday, the Israeli army warned residents of 12 villages and towns in southern Lebanon to evacuate immediately before strikes, despite the extended ceasefire.
The army stated in a release that the evacuation comes "in light of Hezbollah's violation of the ceasefire agreement," adding, "The army is compelled to act against it forcefully... You must evacuate your homes immediately."
In Lebanon, the National News Agency reported extensive airstrikes targeting several villages in the south of the country since Tuesday morning.
For its part, Hezbollah announced in a statement that it targeted a gathering of soldiers and vehicles in northern Israel "with a swarm of attack drones."
The Iran-backed group also claimed responsibility for new attacks against Israeli forces operating within the villages they occupy in Lebanese territory.
In a separate statement, the Israeli army confirmed intercepting a drone that crossed from Lebanon.
