Settlers Begin Establishing Colonial Outpost West of Salfit

SadaNews - Settlers began today, Thursday, to establish a new colonial outpost near the town's schools and citizens' homes northwest of the town of Burqin west of Salfit.

Researcher in the field of resistance to colonization, Raed Muqdadi, stated that the settlers have been working to create a colonial outpost south of the bypass road, only about 100 meters from the Burqin Girls' Elementary School and the Burqin Boys' Elementary School, and about 50 meters from citizens' homes. It is worth noting that this road connects the settlements of "Broqhin" and "Bedouiel," which are built on the lands of the town.

He added that the establishment of the new outpost poses a direct threat to the town's residents and school students, especially since it is close to 13 families living in the area, threatening the existence of citizens and increasing their suffering due to the ongoing attacks by settlers. He confirmed that this step is part of the escalating colonial expansion on the lands of Burqin.
