Palestinian Statistics: Trade balance deficit for recorded goods rises by 17%

Exports to "Israel" increased in February 2026 by 37% compared to February 2025, accounting for 93% of the total value of exports in February 2026. Meanwhile, exports to the rest of the world decreased by 19% compared to February 2025.

Commodity Imports

Imports rose in February 2026 by 20% compared to February 2025, reaching a value of 732.2 million USD.

Imports from Israel increased in February 2026 by 34% compared to February 2025, representing 64% of the total value of imports in February 2026. Imports from the rest of the world also increased by 1% compared to February 2025.

Trade Balance for Recorded Goods

The trade balance, which represents the difference between exports and imports, recorded a 17% increase in the deficit in February 2026 compared to February 2025, with the deficit value reaching 551.1 million USD.
