Israeli Financial Data: War Expenses Exceed 76 Billion Dollars
SadaNews - According to official data released by the Ministry of Finance, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority revealed that total war expenses thus far have reached approximately 76.3 billion dollars, marking one of the highest military spending rates seen in Israel.
According to the report, these expenses include the costs of military operations, compensation for those affected, the rehabilitation of impacted areas, in addition to spending on internal security and enhancing military readiness. The ministry noted that these figures are expected to rise if military operations continue or expand.
This revelation comes amidst intense discussions within Israeli political and economic circles regarding the war's impact on the public budget, with warnings about long-term effects on the national economy, including increased financial deficit and declining growth rates.
