Two Young Men Killed in Ukrainian Drone Attack on Russian Belgorod
SadaNews - A Ukrainian drone attack has resulted in the deaths of two young men riding a motorcycle in the Russian Belgorod region, which lies on the border with Ukraine, as announced by its governor Vyacheslav Gladkov early Friday.
Gladkov wrote on Telegram, "In the village of Volchya Aleksandrovka, a drone belonging to the Ukrainian forces deliberately attacked a motorcycle carrying two young men aged 18 and 15."
He added, "The two young men died at the scene due to their injuries."
Since launching its offensive in Ukraine in February 2022, Russia has been carrying out near-daily attacks on Ukrainian territory, primarily targeting its critical infrastructure.
In response, Kyiv has been striking targets in Russia, asserting that it aims its attacks at military sites and hydrocarbon infrastructure to diminish Moscow's ability to finance its war effort.
The negotiations mediated by the United States have yielded no results and remain stagnant since the outbreak of the war in the Middle East due to Israeli-American strikes on Iran at the end of February.
