Mustafa discusses the latest developments with the Deputy National Security Adviser of the UK
SadaNews - Prime Minister Dr. Mohamed Mustafa met in his office in Ramallah today, Tuesday, with the Deputy National Security Adviser of the UK, Barbara Woodward, in the presence of the British Consul General Helen Winterton.
During the meeting, Mustafa reviewed the latest field developments, particularly the escalation of settler crimes, settlement expansion, and the obstacles to movement between cities and villages due to checkpoints and iron gates. He also highlighted the continuation of the occupation's violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and the restrictions on the entry of aid shipments, especially food and medicine, which exacerbate the suffering of more than two million displaced people in Gaza.
The two sides discussed ways to expedite international efforts to implement UN Security Council Resolution No. (2803) and other relevant international resolutions, as well as to promote relief, recovery, and reconstruction efforts for the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, while speeding up the arrangements for the implementation of the transitional phase aimed at unifying the two halves of the homeland under the jurisdiction of the State of Palestine, according to a system, law, and legitimate authority.
In this regard, the Prime Minister emphasized the readiness of the institutions of the State of Palestine to cooperate with various international parties to contribute to alleviating the suffering of our people in Gaza and to protect our Palestinian national project.
Mustafa renewed his call for further effective international measures to stop all Israeli actions aimed at undermining our national institutions, particularly intensifying international pressure to release the withheld Palestinian funds, alongside mobilizing more political and financial support to enhance the resilience of our people and support stability efforts in the region.
