The Ceremony of Receiving the Duties of the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Estephan Salameh to Manage the Ministry of Finance

SadaNews - Today, Monday, a ceremony was held at the Ministry of Finance headquarters to receive the duties of the Ministry of Finance between the acting Minister Dr. Estephan Salameh and the former Minister of Finance Omar Al-Baitar, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Dr. Dwaas Dwaas, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, and the general directors in the ministry.

Al-Baitar welcomed the new minister, wishing him success and prosperity in his work, pointing out that the Ministry of Finance and all its staff are working diligently and sincerely to serve the public interest, and expressing his confidence that Minister Salameh will continue the path of development and construction to achieve the stability of public finances and enhance the efficiency of institutional performance.

For his part, Dr. Dwaas Dwaas, the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Prime Minister to all the staff of the Ministry of Finance for their tireless and dedicated efforts during the performance of their duties, amidst the difficult circumstances and challenges faced by our Palestinian people due to the continued economic and financial blockade imposed on them.

Dr. Dwaas added that the Prime Minister renews his trust and support for the ministry's employees, emphasizing the importance of continuing their service to our people by protecting and developing public finances, and working in a spirit of teamwork under the leadership of Minister Salameh.

For his part, Dr. Estephan expressed his deep appreciation for former Minister Omar Al-Baitar, expressing his eagerness to work with the staff and employees of the Ministry of Finance in a spirit of teamwork to serve the homeland and the citizen.

Salameh affirmed his commitment to the continuity of institutional work, in a manner that enhances transparency and financial discipline and supports the government's orientations in managing public funds efficiently and responsibly.
