The report confirms that the company's decision comes from the success achieved by the "iPhone 17 Pro Max" in orange color in various global markets, particularly the Chinese market, to the extent that it was compared to the famous shade of orange from the fashion house "Hermès."

There are no details on whether Apple intends to keep the orange color and present dark red as an additional color, resulting in the new phone being available in four colors instead of three, or if the dark red will completely replace the orange color.

The report indicates that the company was considering launching the phone in brown or purple colors, but they may just be experimental shades of red, based on Bloomberg's report.

In a related context, a report published by the tech site "Apple Insider" indicates that the company plans to launch its foldable phone in more subdued colors closer to the classic colors from previous generations, meaning it might be available in gray, black, or silver, thus potentially coming in only two colors.

This is not the first time Apple has released a red color for its phones, but the previous red was part of its collaboration with the Red Cross and under the "Product Red" slogan, featuring a bright red color, according to an independent report from the American tech site "9to5Mac."

The "Apple Insider" report confirms that the new generation of Apple phones will differ only in the new color, as there will be no significant design differences between it and the previous generation due to the great success achieved by the "iPhone 17 Pro Max."
