Smotrich Storms 'Joseph's Tomb' East of Nablus Under Heavy Protection
SadaNews - The Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, accompanied by settlers' leaders, stormed "Joseph's Tomb" east of the city of Nablus, amid strict security measures enforced by the occupation army.
Channel 12 reported that Smotrich performed the Shacharit prayer (the Jewish morning prayer) inside the tomb, under intensive guard from occupation forces, who completely closed the area and prevented Palestinians from approaching.
This incursion comes amidst a rise in settler assaults in the West Bank, where "Joseph's Tomb" is considered one of the main flashpoints of tension between settlers and Palestinians, witnessing repeated incursions under military protection.
