Mossad Claims to Uncover Identity of Iranian Official Managing Operations Against Israel Worldwide

SadaNews - The Israeli Mossad announced today, Sunday, that it has revealed "details of the activities of a senior official in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard named Sardar Ammar," claiming that he is behind attempts to carry out attacks targeting Israeli and Jewish sites in 2024 and 2025 in both Australia, Greece, and Germany.

In a statement issued by Mossad, it was stated that Iran "has expanded its efforts to strike Israeli and Jewish targets worldwide since October 7, 2023," claiming that "joint intelligence operations between Mossad and international security agencies have led to the thwarting of dozens of Iranian schemes."

The statement added that the investigations "revealed key figures within the Iranian regime leading complex systems concerned with recruiting foreigners and using criminals and activating secret communication networks to execute attacks," considering that "these methods aim to carry out operations without leaving direct fingerprints that incriminate Tehran."

It pointed out that among the most prominent names recently uncovered is Sardar Ammar, whom Mossad described as "a senior leader in the Revolutionary Guard who heads the 11th corps under the command of Ismail Qaani, commander of the Quds Force."

It added that this agency "has established a broad infrastructure to carry out attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets inside and outside Israel," and that "its failure to execute these operations led to a wave of arrests that revealed its networks in Europe and Australia."

The statement claimed that "investigations conducted in Australia and Germany led to firm diplomatic actions against Iranian officials," explaining that among the measures taken were "the expulsion of the Iranian ambassador from Australia and declaring him undesirable, and summoning the Iranian ambassador in Germany for an official reprimand," describing those actions as "a clear message rejecting any terrorist activity on the territories of these countries."

Mossad concluded its statement by saying that "the revelation of Sardar Ammar’s agency behind attempts to bomb in Greece, Germany, and Australia proves Iran's failure to operate secretly and undermines its ability to maintain a space of denial in the international arena," adding that "Israel will continue, in cooperation with its partners around the world, to work firmly to thwart Iranian threats and protect its citizens and Jews worldwide."
